Regular/Weekly Events

 

MONDAYS - PETANCA 2pm Eucalyptus Park, Albir

If you fancy a bit of fun, exercise & fresh air you're welcome to join us every Monday in Eucalyptus park, Albir from 2pm - around 4pm. We play right through the year & our numbers range from 8 to 20+ depending on the time of year. We welcome visiting friends and relatives, so ages can range from teenagers to 80+. Some participants have a drink after the games. And best of all it’s FREE. 

TUESDAYS - WEEKLY MEETING 10:45am

Companions meet every Tuesday, September to May at the Rober Palas Hotel in Albir from 10:45am until approximately 12:15 pm

The schedule is:

10:45 Coffee and a chat,  during this time you have the chance to book any trips, meals or entertainment etc 

11:30 we present any announcements and news that we have for you 

11:45 you have a further chance to book any trips etc.

At noon we then have a couple of draws which will be explained to you when you become a member and we are normally finished by 12:15pm. 

You don't have to be a member to attend our meetings, you can come along for a couple of weeks and see what you think.  

TUESDAY LUNCH CLUB (2 times a month)

On the first and third Tuesday of the month, a group of Companions go out for lunch together at a local restaurant. Lunches start at 1:30pm (unless otherwise stated). Don’t forget to say who you want to sit with. Book in advance with Christine.

WEDNESDAYS - TABLE TENNIS 4 to 6pm
at the Apostolic Church, Albir

FRIDAYS - WALKING GROUP 9:30 am 

Meet at the Municipal Car Park in Albir to decide where this week's walk will be, depending on numbers and abilities of those present. This is normally a fairly hard walk of around 4 hours and often includes a stop for lunch afterwards. All walkers are advised to have their own insurance in place and MUST wear suitable footwear.  Whether or not you are included in the walk is entirely at the discretion of the Walk Leader on the day. Non Companion members must sign a disclaimer.  Sorry dogs are not allowed.
